Make a reservation: Tables with a view of the Rhine from 6 p.m. are particularly popular at weekends. It’s best to book online three days in advance. How to get there: For a relaxed journey, we recommend taking the regional train 26 from Oberwinter in the direction of Cologne or Koblenz – so you can enjoy the local Riesling without any worries. The well-developed Rhine Cycle Path is ideal for cycling; almost all restaurants offer secure bike racks. Photo tips: The golden hour starts at around 8:30 pm in summer – set your camera to backlight and capture the reflections on the water.
