1. What exactly does the floor plan of the Deluxe Apartment look like – how are the bedroom, living room, kitchen and bathroom arranged?
The Deluxe Apartment is a spacious apartment with a clear separation between living and sleeping areas.
You first enter the apartment via the separate kitchen, from where you enter the living and dining area. A door from the living room leads into the bedroom, which is directly connected to the modern en suite shower room . This gives you a logical, well-structured floor plan with plenty of privacy in the sleeping area.
2. How large is the terrace of the Deluxe Apartment and what is the view of the Rhine Valley (orientation, typical sunshine times)?
The deluxe apartment has its own 20 m² terrace area, which belongs exclusively to this apartment.
It is part of a larger house terrace, but is separated from the Comfort Studio area by a fixed privacy screen – so you have your own private outdoor area. From here you can look out into the garden and far into the Rhine Valley, with plenty of greenery and an open view of the countryside. The terrace offers enough space for a table, chairs and relaxed seating – ideal for breakfast, working outdoors or for a glass of wine in the evening. Seat cushions and cushions can be found in the chest under the steel staircase.
3. How is access from the Deluxe Apartment to the garden regulated and what play equipment can children use?
You have direct access to the large communal garden from the living area and the terrace. There are green areas and play equipment for children, such as swings and a trampoline, which can be used by arrangement.

In combination with the stable WLAN (see central FAQ) and the quiet location, you have a fully-fledged workplace here where you can concentrate on your work for several days or weeks.
5. How is the sleeping situation distributed when there are three or four people – for whom is the bedroom best suited, for whom the sofa bed?
The bedroom has a box-spring bed with king-size Emma mattresses, which is ideal for up to two adults .
In the living room there is a sofa bed with a queen-size BodyGuard mattress, which also offers full sleeping comfort and is well suited for one to two adults or older children/teens .
For occupancy by three or four people we recommend:
- Bedroom: one or two adults
- Sofa bed: one or two adults or one or two children/teens – without the classic “emergency bed feeling”
6. On which floor is the Deluxe Apartment located and are there stairs that are relevant for baby carriages, older people or a lot of luggage?
The Deluxe Apartment is located on the garden side of the house at the level of the large terrace. However, there are a few steps around the house, which may be relevant when arriving with a lot of luggage, baby carriages or for guests with limited mobility.
If you are unsure, please write to us briefly before booking – then we can check together whether the Deluxe Apartment or other accommodation is better suited to your needs.
7. How quiet is the Deluxe Apartment – are you more likely to hear the garden, neighbors or traffic, and how are the bedrooms oriented?
The apartment is located in a quiet residential area on the edge of the forest in Remagen-Oberwinter, with no busy road directly in front of the house.
From the living room and the terrace, you have a view of the garden and the Rhine Valley; you will typically hear the sounds of nature and the garden rather than traffic noise. The bedroom faces the quiet side of the house or garden, so that even sensitive sleepers can get a good night’ s rest .
8. Is there a lot of storage space (cupboards, chests of drawers, shelves) in the Deluxe Apartment so that it is suitable for longer stays?
There is no classic closet in the Deluxe Apartment, but there are wooden wine crates attached to the wall, which are ideal as open storage areas for clothes and personal items.
Thanks to the very spacious, open-plan layout , you also have plenty of room to place suitcases and bags within easy reach without feeling cramped. In combination with the separate kitchen, living area and terrace, the apartment is also ideal for longer stays.
9. Are dogs allowed in the Comfort Studio Oberwinter?
Yes, dogs are also welcome in the Deluxe Apartment Oberwinter by prior arrangement.
To ensure that everyone feels comfortable, we ask for the following:
- Please pay for the additional cleaning a small contribution. Our recommendation is 25-50 EUR You decide the amount yourself. Simply place the amount on the kitchen table when you check out.
- Please do not let your dog do its business in the garden. You are welcome to use the forest directly behind our house, which is ideal for walking your dog.
- Make sure that the noise level is appropriate (e.g. no constant barking) so that other guests and neighbors are not disturbed.
If you would like to travel with your dog, please let us know in advance so that we can make the necessary arrangements.
